Residency Opportunity for Cultural Workers
Your project, our community.
Are you ready to take time out to focus and create? Are you wanting in-depth conversation with leading cultural creators?
Métèque is a cultural hub in Montreal’s thriving NDG neighbourhood that combines a gallery with atelier and community workshop space. Métèque’s niche residency program offers protected time and space to practitioners in any discipline who are committed to cultural collaboration.
Co-founders Carolina Echeverria and Agata Kozanecka describe what they love about the site: “Picture a heritage building (c. 1926) with original floors, windows, natural light, WiFi, tables, intimate corners and a to-die-for coffee machine. Native Immigrant dresses all around. Complete with basement, bathroom and parking. Two blocks to Metro Villa Maria. One block to Monkland Avenue. Ten steps to Cafe Mariposa.”
Residencies can be combined with a workshop, show, recital or exhibit so you can share your process with the public.
